What sets professional Arabic translation apart
Arabic is a family of spoken dialects around one formal written language, written from right to left. Each of those facts changes how the work is done.
Formal written Arabic and spoken dialects
Documents are written in Modern Standard Arabic, but people speak Egyptian, Levantine, Gulf, Iraqi, Sudanese, Yemeni or Maghrebi Arabic, which can be hard to follow across regions. For interpretation we match the dialect, and we ask where the person is from before booking.
Names in Latin letters
The same Arabic name can be written Mohammed, Muhammad or Mohamed in English. We keep the spelling from the passport or existing immigration record, so a translation does not create a mismatch between documents.
Hijri and Gregorian dates
Some documents carry dates in the Islamic Hijri calendar, sometimes alongside Gregorian dates. We translate dates as written and add a translator's note with the Gregorian equivalent when the receiving authority needs it.
Right to left done properly
